The Elytis' House - Museum is located in Plaka, in a neoclassical building at the junction of Dioskouri and Polygnotou streets.
Visits to the exhibition take place at regular intervals of 30 minutes, for which you must make a reservation, either online or at the Museum reception. Small groups of people take part in every half hour, and they tour the exhibition accompanied by a member of the Museum.

The Museum remains closed on January 1st and 6th, Clean Monday, March 25th, Easter Sunday and Monday, May Day, Holy Spirit, August 15th, December 25th, and December 26th.

The Museum is easily accessible by public transport as well as on foot from central parts of the city.
Access for people with disabilities/reduced mobility is from the entrance at 7 Polygnotou Street. Entrance for guide dogs and assistants for the disabled is allowed in all areas of the Museum

5 minutes walk from Monastiraki Square, 8 minutes from Mitropoleos Square and 15 minutes from Syntagma Square.
By metro:
Monastiraki station (Lines 1 and 3) at a distance of 280 meters.
Thisiou station (Line 3) at a distance of 650 meters.

The Museum does not have a parking space for cars, motorcycles, bicycles, or skates. There are private parking lots nearby.
